Set of 4 Kukkapuro 419 chairs

The 419 chair by the Finn, Yrjo Kukkapuro, is made from ABS-plastic and chromium plated steel tube. These 4 are in good usable condition but have a a few cracks and flaws. They have been refurbished with wet sanding/polishing and upholstered in deadstock vintage fabric. The chairs are stackable and have original Haimi labels.

This model chair from Kukkapuro began production in the 60's for Haimi along with designs from Tobia Scarpa. It is a lesser known design compared to his iconic award winning Karuselli lounge. Translucent versions w/enamel legs are super rare and very splendid.
