Percival Lafer Patchwork Sofa
Percival Lafer Patchwork Sofa
This Percival Lafer Sofa in Dark Chocolate Leather was originally purchased in Brazil and later imported into the U.S. Like many of Lafers designs it is lightweight with supple leather and rosewood feet. The sofa has original tags showing October 1978 production.
The cushions are soft and comfortable with enough room to nap and lounge. This piece would look fabulous with other tropical modernist designs that are earthy and clean. It lends itself well to various styles from Deco to Danish modern. The 70's Percival Lafer is great for someone who wants simplicity without compromising comfort or style. The low 28" overall height helps make spaces look taller and prevents a seating area from feeling closed off from view.
Height: 28 in Width: 84 in Depth: 32 in Seat: 16 in.
Modular flat pack design makes this an easy mover with the seat bottom and back being connected with hinges that are held in place by the frame and proprietary teak dowels. The 4 panels that make up the frame of the couch are fastened with standard nuts and bolts and use a peg and hole system to secure the armrests and cushions.
